Helen Athan is a founding member of the firm and has practiced law in Southwest Florida since 1989. Helen has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America. Helen has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate law, including acquisition, development, financing, title and leasing, and business organizations and transactions.
Areas of Concentration
Representation of real estate developers, financial institutions, commercial property owners and other businesses and individuals related to real estate matters, including:
- Representing real estate developers from acquisition through development and sell-out
- Dealing in transactional, title, condominium and planned development matters
- Representation of financial institutions and borrowers in making or obtaining construction, development, business and other commercial and residential loans
- Counsel to business entities in corporate matters
- Loan work-outs and dispute resolution
- Preparing and negotiating commercial and residential leases on behalf of landlords and tenants
