Noteworthy Cases
- Pollution Prevention Service v. Inter Recycling, U.S. Middle District of Florida, (1996), Reasoning that under Florida Long-Arm law, personal jurisdiction could be asserted over out-of-state companies and president; the requirements for minimum contacts were satisfied and service was proper.
- Morgan v. Cornell, 939 So. 2nd 344 (Fla. 2d DCA 2006), Plain language of a will devise did not contain a limitation on the kind of ownership required to trigger the condition. The devise properly bequeathed the interest, which the decedent owned in real estate as a tenant in common.
