Professional Experience
Christina Woods has practiced law in Southwest Florida since 2005 and has more than ten years of experience representing closely held and family owned businesses. Christina also focuses her practice area on matters such as mergers, acquisitions, formation and disposition of entities, addressing matters involving the operations of business entities, individual tax planning, and business tax planning. Additionally, Christina is involved with ancillary estate planning and estate administration matters.
Areas of Concentration
- Representing clients, including, but not limited to, developers, professional groups, and business entrepreneurs, in planning and forming and/or restructuring businesses
- Representing clients with buy-sell planning
- Advising clients in matters involving partnerships and limited liability companies, which includes drafting partnership or operating agreements
- Representing clients in merger and acquisitions
- Advising clients on tax issues and business issues which arise in complex business transactions and every day business operations
- Representing parties in estate planning and administration matters
- Representing professional businesses involving licensing requirements with the Florida Department of Business Professional Regulations
- Representing nonprofit entities with respect to corporate formations and IRS compliance matters
Community Involvement

- Participate in local fundraisers for charitable organizations, which include the American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America and MS Homes
- Participated as PTA Member and School Volunteer in Collier County, Florida
