Bart relocated from New Orleans in 2006 to join the firm's Litigation Practice Group. He has twenty years of litigation experience in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level. His experience includes admiralty, commercial, construction, employment, constitutional law, insurance, land use, personal injury, products liability, toxic tort, and other types of litigation. In addition to his work in New Orleans-based litigation firms, Bart has served as an Assistant Attorney General in two states. He is also admitted to the bars of Louisiana, Texas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and he has practiced extensively in each jurisdiction. In 1997, Bart was appointed as a U.S. Supreme Court Fellow by the National Association of Attorneys General and served on a litigation support team that authored amicus brief, coordinated certiorari petitions and merits briefs, and prepared State Attorneys General for argument before the U.S. Supreme Court. |
